DESCRIPTION
Many of our performers have had no previous theatre training and may have thought themselves too shy to recite in class or lead a group. MYART uses creative dramatics and training in voice, dance and acting to help students discover their own power as individuals. Students also learn how to create and work together as a cooperative group in a positive manner. Our program goal is for each participant to leave the theatre on closing night with newly discovered skills, new friends and a stronger appreciation for live theatre. We at MYART are pleased and proud to be able to showcase our performer's talents and enthusiasm with high quality musical theatre productions.
