Colorado Stage Company is committed to presenting high quality live theatre to the Southern Metropolitan Communities and beyond. Our aim is to operate as a nonprofit organization, utilizing the talents of professional as well as semi-professional performers, in an effort to offer contemporary, classical, musical and children's productions and to facilitate education in theatre. We believe that through authentic interaction we can transcend the boundaries of cultural, racial and sexual chasms and allow our diversities to meld into understanding, appreciation and respect. We intend to entertain as well as educate our audiences and encourage discussion, which will result in a broader perspective of our society and our places in it. We wish to cultivate an interest in theatre in our community's youth because we believe that through our young people we are able to keep the art of live performance a vital part of our future generations. We are determined to support new playwrights with staged readings and productions of their plays in an effort to allow them the proper atmosphere and venue to experiment with and test their new work. We pledge to cooperate with and promote positive relations between us and the community we serve as well as our local artistic community.
